The event was an 80th Birthday party. Derek with Southworth Entertainment was FANTASTIC.
He had a wide verity of music. His music selection was perfect for the occasion. The sound and DJ set up was great. Derek adjusted the music levels just right. Lower for dinner and louder for dancing.
You could tell that he had a lot of experience at doing this. I would HIGHLY RECOMEND Derek for any type of venue or event.
PS: I am an audio video technician. So of course all the relatives think I should DJ their event. A DJ needs a lot of skills, Audio tech, MC, host, party director, DJ, music mixer just to name a few.
HIGHER A PROFESIONAL DJ. You will be glad you did.

I recently had my wedding in Lake Tahoe, and we decided to work with Southworth Entertainment. Derek was really nice and checked in with us about certain details on the wedding. He was fun and professional, and played a lot of the songs we wanted. You want to work with him! He makes the process super easy and low stress and I would encourage you to work with him.
