When the handyman partially finished the job, he asked me to look at his work and I didn't want to be scrutinizing every nook and cranny, so I just came and looked casually and didn't see the issue until later the same day that he finished. I came into the kitchen and wasn't even trying to look for any problems and staring back at me was an obvious issue that needed tending to. I then sent a photo of the issue to the handyman the next morning and he said he if he could fix the issue he would be back. I got nervous at that point and thought, oh gosh, he isn't going to fix it, because he's already been paid! So, I have to be consistently contacting him, because he seemingly didn't want to return to do work that should have been done the first time. I wish he had mentioned it, I'm certain that he saw the issue before leaving and just didn't think I'd notice. I did like the fact that he did come back and made the issue look better than before, but there was clearly still issues that needed to be addressed. It was uncomfortable for me to have to point these issues out. It should have been completed. I mentioned this issue to him and he said that he matched the paint as close as he could and I asked about the texture and he again had the same response that the area that is with texture is new and so he thought it was okay to leave it this way. I did mention that I would maybe call him back to do this work, but, I was just trying to ease the tension (maybe it was just me) I won't ask him back, for fear that this is the type of work he's comfortable providing to customers. I hope that thumbtack protects its clients to guard against any retaliation from the handymen. Im not an unreasonable person.

Two man crew, got the job done in 5 hours and I couldn’t pass up the price. They leveled my dirt parking space and put the gravel in that they hauled themselves all in the 5 hours. They came very prepared and worked non stop. I will definitely hire them again. Extremely knowledgeable about Landscaping!
