As many others have shared, Assaf of Garage Door Experts is a consummate professional. I contacted GDE to rectify the shoddy and rip-off 'repair' done by another vendor. Assaf arrived quickly, diagnosed the issues with the shoddy repair, and then got to work. He adjusted the tension spring so that the door would not fall down by gravity, removed and correctly re-installed the left and right spring tension plates, and then replaced the right and left tracks so that the door would open and close smoothly. After learning that I had already paid $1,650 for a job that should have cost a few hundred, Assaf felt so badly for me that he even refused to charge me. Wow, talk about integrity, ethics, and professionalism! I paid him what was in my wallet, and thanked him for being such a model and outstanding professional. Last, always make sure to get multiple bids for costly work, and do some initial internet or CGPT research to learn how much typical jobs should cost. Then, you can make an informed decision. Or, you can just select GDE knowing that they will treat you with respect and integrity!

Assef from "Garage Door Experts Repair & Installation" fixed our garage door. He did a great job. More importantly, he was an honest guy who after looking at the door said that the door is of much better quality than anything they make nowadays and that I should save it. He offered to replace the door for $3000 which is about the same as several other contractors that had come before. I paid him about $1000 for the job and the door now opens and closes smoothly like it did before. I am attaching a few pictures of the door with the dent and the door after the fix. Thank you Assef!! Great job.
