We just thoroughly lucked out in finding Suarez Tree Service LLC. Everything about them, from the quote to the finished job, was done at a higher level of service than any of the many contractors and tree trimmers we've used over the last 8 years in this house. It is a family business--Fernando and his father Francisco, plus a crew.If Fernando (the son) texts that they'll arrive at 8:00 a.m., they arrive at 7:57 and politely announce via text that they're outside. We'd gotten a quote from another well recommended tree trimmer several days before that was very slightly lower but once we saw how much attention to detail Fernando and his father put into the quote, we were ALL IN. They clearly want to give the client a well-considered estimate and make sure what they're about to do is well understood. The cost was extremely fair based on the quality of work that was done which was spectacular in every respect. Top notch aesthetics and concern for tree shape and health.Not only was there not a minute of disappointment, every single tree removal and tree trimming was done with utmost care, and very efficiently. They came equipped with very modern equipment, wear helmets that have face shields and use a lot of caution pulling down limbs using belays so no one gets hurt.They also have their own insurance, which many services do not, thus eliminating the worry about the homeowner covering injuries on the job. Their people are paid well, and all of our work was done by father, son and one climber.Our back yard was a mess of poor trimming, which they improved without having to cut down more than two trees that were tangling with cables and were badly misshapen and leaning. They left the place pristine, plus making sure that no debris was left on the neighbor's side.We were so impressed with their expertise--way beyond anything done before. They come with small hand tools that are on extenders so they can do delicate trimming and the tree comes out looking beautiful.Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about them. Would use them again in a heartbeat; only wished we'd found them earlier. They don't have much social media presence because Francisco is "old school" and works by word of mouth, but Fernando is trying to change this a little bit. Francisco worked for Brende & Lamb in Berkeley many years ago before starting his own company in 1989.
