Bar helped us train our Belgian Malinois/ Dutch Shepherd. He helped Tahoe become calmer and understand commands. Bar was patient and my puppy made significant progress. It’s been a joy to watch our puppy’s behavior improve. I would recommend Bar to others. Thanks Bar we appreciate you so much.

I wish I’d found Bar sooner! He has transformed my dog and repaired our relationship. My rescue pup was reactive and unpredictable, which stressed me out and caused us to have a tense relationship. After doing the board and train with Bar, she is much calmer, much happier and much more predictable. Working on the training back at home has deepened our connection and we have much more fun together now. We feel more like a team. Prior to finding Bar I had sent her to another trainer who was a negative person and that energy made both my dog and I even more stressed. Bar is a happy, kind, positive person and that transmits to both dog and owner. I feel safe with him and completely trust him with my pup, and my dog absolutely loves him. I’m so grateful that I found him and highly recommend him. He was recommended by a friend whose dog he trained and I’ve since referred a friend to him who loved him also. He genuinely cares about dogs and wants them to be happy and well adjusted. His property is clean and well set-up and it’s clear that he’s a professional who knows exactly how to solve problems. If you’re on the fence about sending your dog away for a month with him, let this be the sign to just go for it, you’ll be glad that you did!

I am so happy I chose Bar for the obedience training of our 3 year old sheepadoodle. Koko was reactive to dogs and strangers by barking and pulling on the leash. Walking was quite the challenge. Koko completed the board and train program. Bar taught Koko to focus and follow commands. I visited Koko during the boarding and Bar provided the needed guidance for me to continue the behaviors once home. Koko is now a pleasure to walk. She is focused on me and my commands. Bar has a gentle but firm method of training. Bar is quick to respond to communications. Bar explained what I needed to do to be successful and it worked!!

Bar at K9 Dog Training was the best! My family left our dog with him for a few weeks to tighten up some training and WOW was he a different dog! So quick to follow commands, so eager to perform well, and SO locked into Bar! We could tell Bar spent a lot of time with our dog -- they had a special bond for sure. Not to mention the facility (ranch) is stunning; a place any dog would thrive in. And above all that, the best part was the training sessions with us humans to learn more about our dog and how to best communicate with him to set us all up for success. We will be back for refreshes and boarding in the future for sure! Thank you Bar for putting so much love and care into our boy!

I had adopted a rescue  (9mo old) Dutch Brindle Shepherd from the shelter. Jr needed to learn basic training, i.e. Potty training, Sit, down, heel and place.  Jr came from a shelter as a surrender. He was completely discombobulated. He was anxious, stressed, lost with not direction and scared of the outside world. This had me concerned about his behaviorisms as I didn't know what kind of home he was surrended from and why.  I reached out to Bar. He is an amazing young man with alot of knowledge on what direction Jr needed for his own well-being. He listened to my concerns and my needs for Jr. I wanted Jr to be comfortable and confident within himself but also at the same time compliant to my needs as well.  Bar accomplished this for me in no time. He boarded and trained Jr at his establishment for considerably amount of time, adjusting to Jrs needs as well as mine.  In addition, Bar has made accomodations for me at the spare of a moments notice for boadering as well as training. I give Bar hands down 5stars for his services. He always gone above and beyond for any requests that I would throw at him to give me 100% customer satisfaction. Bar is very professional and experienced and these are just some if the reasons I chose him to help my Jr. And I'm glad I did. Thank you Bar, I am eternally grateful for all your help.
