We are a newly bi-coastal full-service professional organizing firm. RL Professional Organizing was established in 2014 in New York City. We have very recently expanded to the West Coast. Hello, Los Angeles! We provide premium organizing, de-cluttering, packing and unpacking services to homes and businesses in New York City, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Orange County, CA. Our unique, holistic approach to organizing sets us apart. We believe that no two clients are exactly alike. I cannot say enough great things about Rolanda, both as a professional and a person. She helped my family (I had 3 young children at the time) pack up, sort through, and organize for storage our *entire* 2000 square foot house in a matter of days as we prepped for a long-distance move.She is kind, judicious (she didn't make me pitch anything sentimental, but she has *standards*), and just a delight to work with. I called Rolanda in a state of total desperation. I had deadlines I needed to meet and my procrastinator identity had taken over completely. Frozen. Somehow I made my way to task rabbit and have no idea how I found this earth angel except to say I have a knack for finding the right people when I need them. As soon as I booked that session I knew I would be ok and all would be well in my world (and also in the world where the deadlines were a clear make it or break it). Rolanda helped me not in the ways others in my past employment have tried and mostly failed. I am a fiercely independent person even when I am headed straight for helldont you try to get in my way. Rolanda has that rare quality of knowing we humans must be sovereign over our environments and thus does this very graceful thing called getting out of the way and aligning with our (mine in this case) true intention and desire. She just somehow elegantly, with a somewhat scary (in a good way) makes you (me) make it happen. And then would never go about bragging about the great job she did with so and so client because she knows its your very own result. And then she probably smiles when she thinks about her time with you. Rolanda is professional and diligent. She helped me with my move from NYC to Bangalore, India. The way she plan and prioritise is absolutely amazing. My furnitures including some fragile and valuable items were packed so diligently that even after transfer through 5 different containers -- arrived destination safe and in great condition. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on the type of service requested. We have a 3-hour minimum for home organizing and packing/unpacking.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We get to know the new customer first! Be prepared to tell us a little about your lifestyle as well as some of your biggest pain points. We make home organizing a fun process that may even involve a little self-discovery.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a professional organizer for more than 10 years. I got started in New York City, where my earliest clients were living in some of the most challenging interior spaces. I'm also very good at Tetris. :-)
