New Mountain Tree Service, Eric Melgar was hired to design a continuous garden to be placed in the plant beds that surround my condominium patio. Erick Melgar (owner) and I went on a shopping trip where we picked out the plants to be used in this garden; while shopping I was impressed on how knowledgeable Erick is about plants. Erick designed the new layout of the plants in the plant beds, carefully putting plants in a spot that would meet their sunlight/shade requirements. The plants were evenly placed around the patio, and the garden itself looked exceptionally beautiful. Erick is very tidy and ensured that all of the dirt, leaves, old garden debris was cleaned up. Erick checked the existing water drip system to make sure that it was functioning properly. Erick patiently taught me how to use the water drip system. Thus far a lot of people have complimented my new garden. In closing Erick provided excellent customer service, showed extreme knowledge of plants, has an eye for designing gardens that best suit the landscape of the yard. Also, Erick had great professionalism, and was very responsive, always communicating back via text in a timely manner. I would high recommend Eric Melgar, New Mountain Tree Service.

Needed the bushes around the tennis court trimmed. They were very tall and wild. Erick suggested hand trimming over using a hedge trimmer so they’d look more natural. So glad I did that. They look great, so much better than if used a hedger on them. Took all day as it was a much more manual process. Worth it though. Will definitely be using their services again.

Erick is a great worker. He is very knowledgeable about trees and plants. I had him remove ivy from a fence, replace hydrangeas with gardenias, put in two camellias, mulch everything. He also trimmed a Crepe Myrtle. He works fast and cleans the area up beautifully. He responds immediately to text messages. I will be hiring him for future work.

Erick did an amazing job fixing my sprinkler and finding issues I didn't know were there. He found a flooded area and realized that the contractors built over an existing sprinkler before selling this house to me. The photo shows him opening up that covered area and putting a sprinkler head there. He fixed that area in addition to what I originally requested. He provided me with amazing pricing and he will return to do more work for me in the upcoming weeks. Thank you Erick!
