Move in $200 includes: General areas Walls and baseboards: Clean and remove any scuffs or marks from walls, wipe down baseboards, and dust crown molding. Ceilings and light fixtures: Remove all cobwebs from ceiling corners and vents. Clean and wipe down ceiling fans, vents, and light fixtures. Doors: Wipe down door frames and wash doors to remove fingerprints and smudges. Windows: Clean interior windows, tracks, and sills. Wipe down blinds or other window treatments. Floors: Thoroughly sweep and mop all hard-surface floors. Vacuum all carpeted areas, paying special attention to edges and corners. High-touch surfaces: Sanitize all light switches, outlets, and doorknobs. Inside closets: Wipe down shelves and dust all interior closet surfaces. Kitchen Appliances: Deep clean the interiors and exteriors of all appliances, including the oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. Clean the stovetop, burners, and range hood filter. Cabinets and drawers: Empty and wipe down all interior and exterior cabinet and drawer surfaces. This is a crucial step that is often missed. Countertops and backsplash: Wipe down and disinfect all countertops and backsplashes, removing any grease or spills. Sink: Scrub the sink basin and polish the faucets. Run the garbage disposal with ice cubes or vinegar to clean and deodorize it. Trash bins: Empty and sanitize all trash and recycling bins. Bathrooms Toilet: Clean and disinfect the toilet inside and out, including the seat, lid, and base. Shower and tub: Remove soap scum, clean and disinfect glass doors, and scrub tile and grout. Consider soaking the showerhead in vinegar to remove mineral deposits. Sink and vanity: Clean and disinfect the sink and countertops. Polish the faucets and hardware. Mirrors: Clean mirrors to a streak-free shine. Storage: Wipe down the inside of all vanity and medicine cabinets. Light fixtures and fans: Dust and wipe down all light fixtures, covers, and ceiling fans. A pillowcase can be used to catch dust from fan blades. Baseboards and trim: Wipe down all baseboards and trim to remove dust and dirt. High-touch surfaces: Clean and disinfect all light switches, outlet covers, and doorknobs. Closets and cabinets: Wipe down all shelves and the interiors of all cabinets and closets. Air vents: Dust and wipe down air vents and change the air filter (if provided). Kitchen Appliances: Oven and stove: Deep clean the interior and exterior of the oven, including racks and the inside door. Remove burners and drip pans to scrub the stovetop. Degrease and clean the range hood and its filter. Refrigerator and freezer: Empty, defrost, clean, and sanitize the inside and outside of the unit, including all shelves, drawers, and door seals. Dishwasher: Clean the interior, including the filter, and wipe down the exterior. Behind and underneath: Move appliances to clean the floor and wall behind them. Cabinets and countertops: Wipe down all cabinet and drawer interiors and exteriors. Clean and disinfect all countertops and backsplashes. Sink and disposal: Scrub the sink basin, polish the faucet, and clean the garbage disposal. Bathrooms Tub and shower: Scrub to remove all soap scum, mildew, and grime from the tub, shower, tiles, and grout. Toilet: Deep clean and sanitize the entire toilet, inside and out. Sink and vanity: Scrub and disinfect the sink and countertops. Clean inside and outside of the vanity and cabinets. Mirrors: Clean all mirrors for a streak-free finish.
