Hipsteria is one of San Francisco’s favorite bands. We bring an exciting, elegant and artful show that elevates every event. With a mastery of so many styles of music, Hipsteria is more than just a jazz and soul band. We can provide rockin’ blues, swingin’ cocktail jazz, electrifying party classics, soulful R&B, fiery Latin favorites, popular modern hits, hypnotic bossa novas and much more! Members of Hipsteria have included some of jazz history’s most legendary musicians such as: Donald “Duck” Bailey (John Coltrane, Jimmy Smith), Chris Amberger (Jazz Messengers, Joe Henderson), Smith Dobson, Danny Brown, Gaea Schell, “Tender” Tim Shea, T-Lowe, Prairie Prince (Journey, Jefferson Starship), Marc Levine, Jay Standards, Danny Spencer (Dizzy Gillespie, Dexter Gordon), Mike Rinta (Santana, Herbie Hancock), Ollie Dudek, Grant Levin and many more! Hipsteria can meet the needs of any client, swinging as anything from a duo to a full 17-piece big band.
