These guys showed up and took my kitchen down to the studs in under 4 hours. Cleaned up well and worked super hard the whole time. I have a 1920s craftsman home and they got all the lath and plaster out of there which is no easy task.

A responsive hardworking crew of 2 arrived at the agreed upon time to remove a built-in grill and cabinet with countertop, BUT were not fully prepared to protect our floor-to-ceiling glass windows (which was outlined in our job description beforehand). This job was more of a careful deconstruction rather than a demolition and they only brought one piece of plywood to protect a huge expanse of glass. We had a small heart attack when they began sledgehammering the countertop and shards of material began flying! Thankfully we were able to stop them before any damage occurred and luckily we had some extra plywood in our garage, but it was a very stressful start. Once we reiterated that they could not damage the house, windows & patio, the crew was much more careful and completed the job to our satisfaction. In the end, they removed the built-in grill, the job site was left broom clean, the material was properly disposed of, and by a minor miracle, our windows weren't broken or scratched. In hindsight, I wish we had larger pieces of plywood on hand AND placed a blanket between the glass and the plywood for better protection. Live and learn, we were very lucky nothing was damaged.
