Hi! My name is Jennifer Shaevitz and I have lived in San Luis Obispo, California since 1991. I love being outdoors, photographing/videoing sporting events and spending time with my family. I am passionate about capturing athletes in action with video and photography. Whether it is soccer, basketball, wrestling, cheerleading, volleyball, waterskiing or surfing, I love shooting it all! I can also be your go to for putting together athletic highlight videos for college recruiting and/or personal use. And if theatre
is your thing, I have experience photographing/videotaping plays and musicals.
In addition to sports, I also enjoy family, couple, individual and graduation portrait photography. Interacting with clients and putting them at ease in front of the camera is truly rewarding!

Thank you SLO Media for helping us showcase our daughter's soccer skills and highlights. Your attention to detail and eagerness to capture exactly what we wanted to showcase was not only evident but also clearly shown throughout the whole process. Working with SLO media was an absolute perfect match for my husband's perfectionist standards. There was so much back and forth about the little details that seemed to change between my daughter and my husband's vision, SLO Media was beyond patient and also contributed so much to helping that vision come to shape. I'm not sure if SLO Media has ever had these type of clients but they surpassed our every expectation and brought forth the most incredible highlight videos. Additionally having someone look at our daughters's sport with a set of eyes that understands the game through their own knowledge about the sport, made it so easy to work with them. Jennifer was amazing to work with for my sons' soccer highlight videos. She has completed one video with updates for my older son and is currently working on my younger son's video. She is quick in her responses, very honest about what works and doesn't, very open to adjustments and updates and such a great value for her service. I've sent the video to a few people we know in the soccer world, and they were just blown away with how well made it was! Even if you just want a video for your own use and not for colleges, it's a great piece of history you can watch for years to come. I highly recommend Jennifer!

I had such a wonderful experience working with Jennifer! She was patient, kind, and made the whole process so fun. She took both individual and group college graduation photos for me and my friends, spending hours with us to make sure we got every shot we wanted. She switched locations with us so we could get a variety of backdrops, stuck with me through a number of outfit changes, and made sure everyone in the group felt heard and comfortable. The photos turned out beautifully, and I’m so grateful for her time and talent. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Jennifer is great at what she does. She is able to capture the individualism in each athlete at the moment. She is very flexible when working with "teenagers" and their photo pose preferences and when they need help or suggestions, she is able to help with perfect individual fits. Thanks for capturing lifelong memories and moments!!
