My wife and I love Shannon! Shannon is an absolute blast! She is incredibly communicative, non judgmental and always flexible with us for our schedules and different dances we want to try! My wife and I started so we could try a new hobby not knowing how long we’d be able to keep up, but it has easily become our favourite things to do weekly! Shannon was an incredible dance instructor for my husband and I's wedding first dance! When we had our first lesson with her 5 months before our big day, we had no dance experience and a short list of songs we loved. Shannon taught us basic steps for each of our favorites so we could grasp how the final dance would feel, and was patient with us while we selected our song. We went with Nat King Cole's L-O-V-E... Over the course of 5 one-hour sessions, Shannon taught us a beautifully choreographed dance to the 2:30 min classic, with a mixture of swing and ballroom styles. As we got closer to our wedding we decided to book more sessions so that we could refine the dance, and even brought in my dad and my husband's mom so she could create easy-to-learn dances for our father of the bride and mother of the groom dances. In total, we must have booked Shannon 10 times. She provided high quality choreography and is an excellent instructor for beginners. She was patient, professional, and provided a fun, low pressure environment for my husband and I to learn. Our lessons with Shannon were THE MOST FUN part of wedding planning, by far.

Shannon was such a great teacher. She was gauged our dancing abilities and adjusted the choreography accordingly. She broke the steps down in a way easy to understand. She is very talented and if I needed to do choreography again, I would hire her in a heartbeat! She’s a gem!
