Insurance not accepted. Do not reach out if you are not serious about hiring a Theta Healing Therapist and/or cannot afford the minimum prices listed. Thank you Welcome! My name is Eugenia, and I am a Certified Theta Healing Practitioner with over 10 years of experience in holistic techniques. Theta Healing is my practice of choice as it has drastically changed my life for the better, and it's rewarding to receive the same reaction from people I work with. Why work with me 1) I work with adults who are ready to heal their resentment and the limiting beliefs that hold them down. "Ready" - meaning ready to ditch the ineffective and unusable and ready to embrace the important and purposeful. In just a few sessions, if their mental blocks are targeted right, they WILL witness a growing improvement or achievement. 2) Discretion and Acceptance are my therapeutic compasses in your journey. 3) Sessions are tailored to your personal needs and motivation, which stem from your unique life experience. 4) Theta Healing works 10X faster than other therapies I have tried, and I've tried many. 5) There is a 50% discount running for the first session - CODE "Ready 50". How it works With my guided questions and observations, we dig into your thought process (not hypnosis) and find the connections related to your area of concern. We address them. We work together to establish how they are no longer useful to you. We replace them with connections that immediately free you from these mind chains and give you access to your true and purposeful growth. How is it different? The change is noticeable from the first session. For example, if someone is rude to you or aggressive, and that makes you feel scared, sad, or angry, we dig out the deeper connection that triggers you to feel that way. We replace this with a new positive program/connection. You won't be feeling the same negative emotion the next time this happens. Plus, it will happen a lot less (if at all), because you are not learning anymore from that experience. You only need to be hydrated during the session and be willing to discover the root cause of the matter. A practical and powerful tool that helps you improve your life and make changes; from hard decisions to bad habits. The change is safe and instant. The session is verbal communication that takes place in person or online; however, I mostly do online, because I work with people abroad. Area of work My work focuses on removing emotional and mental anchors from your path of growth, allowing you to create the life that you want. These obstacles are the reason you can feel sad, stuck, hopeless, regretful, or stressed about not living the life you once dreamed of. Every person is different; thus, sessions are completely focused on your needs and experiences. But to name a few things we can work on together: anxiety disorders (generalized anxiety, social, phobias, panic attacks), bad habits, negative thoughts, depression and mood swings, grief and loss, work stress, career choice, professional success, burnout, major transitions (moving, divorce, marriage, retirement), health challenges, financial stress, identity exploration, anger, couple miscommunication, separation, unhealthy relationships, loneliness, difficulty making/keeping friends, enhancing self-awareness, building self-esteem, confidence, imposter syndrome, developing confrontational skills, setting boundaries, working on goals, motivation or productivity. If you are ready to heal and bring out the best in yourself, I will be honoured to witness you!See more

Amandor P. says, "I highly recommend Munjal Shah to anyone looking to make meaningful changes in their life. I originally reached out to Munjal for help with my confidence and self-healing. As we began our sessions, we also started discussing my struggles with a chronic cough, which I realized was linked to my consumption of alcohol and marijuana. Thanks to Munjal’s hypnotherapy, coupled with my own strong desire for change, I’ve seen incredible results across all these areas. Before working with Munjal, I was drinking at least ten “nips” of alcohol every night. Now, I’m down to maybe four a week, if that! I also used to regularly consume marijuana, and I’ve significantly reduced that as well. While I haven’t completely quit either, I’ve reached a point where I can comfortably socialize and enjoy myself with just a couple of drinks here and there. This progress, along with joining a dance class and buying new clothing and jewelry, has truly made a profound difference in my confidence and overall well-being. Munjal’s approach was incredibly effective, and I’m so grateful for his guidance. He helped me tap into my own inner strength and motivation, allowing me to achieve goals I wasn’t sure were possible. If you’re ready to make a change and focus on your confidence and self-healing, or address other personal challenges, I believe Munjal Shah can provide the support and tools you need."See more

FAQs

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How does hypnosis work?

Hypnosis is a wellness technique that works by promoting positive behavioral or cognitive changes. During successful hypnosis, the client should be eased into a state of deep relaxation in which the conscious mind takes a back seat and the subconscious mind becomes more active. The client is often able to let go of critical thoughts and become receptive to the therapist’s suggestions. In this state of hypnosis, motivating suggestions can bypass your usual mental resistance and internal defense mechanisms. For example, even if you want to quit overeating cupcakes, you may have some level of resistance that your rational mind can’t overcome. During hypnosis, the positive suggestions made by the hypnotherapist can bypass your usual blocks, helping you to achieve the formerly unachievable: stopping overeating, quitting smoking, mastering public speaking, or losing your fear of heights. The goal of hypnosis is to strengthen and empower the client’s motivation, commitment and focus. Consider working with someone who is not just trained in hypnosis but also is a licensed therapist or psychotherapist who can bring their academic background into your session.

How is hypnosis used in therapy?

Hypnosis is a powerful tool to help clients overcome challenging issues such as anxiety, phobias, pain management, hot flashes and more. Hypnosis is also a way to help let go of addictions like smoking, overeating and gambling. In and of itself, hypnosis is not a therapy, but it can be used in conjunction with therapy to empower and encourage the person receiving it to make positive change. Some people are more susceptible to hypnosis and will benefit more from hypnotherapy than others.

According to Dr. Clifford N. Lazarus, speaking for Psychology Today, hypnosis is a “genuine psychological phenomenon that has valid uses in clinical practice … hypnosis is a state of highly focused attention or concentration, often associated with relaxation, and heightened suggestibility. While under hypnosis (i.e., in a hypnotic trance), it seems many people are much more open to helpful suggestions than they usually are.” The suggestions made in a therapeutic setting get deep into a person’s brain, beyond their conscious thinking, leading to behavior change and the ability to overcome challenges that might otherwise seem insurmountable.

What is the effectiveness of hypnosis?

The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services recognizes the healing power of hypnosis and its proven effectiveness for anxiety, pain control, smoking cessation, headaches and more. Hypnosis may be safe and complementary way to augment medical attention you are receiving for a chronic illness or pain, or a way to resolve an addiction or phobia that you are otherwise unable to control. Hypnosis does not work on every person. When scientists began studying hypnosis in earnest, a report published by Stanford University titled “The Stanford Hypnotic Susceptibility Scale” demonstrated that different brains respond to hypnosis in varying degrees, and a very few do not respond at all. Working with a trained psychologist, you’ll soon determine whether you are a good candidate for the healing benefits of hypnotherapy.

During a hypnotherapy session, the therapist will bring you into a state of deep relaxation in which the critical, conscious part of your brain recedes and the subconscious mind becomes alert and focused. The therapist will make suggestions, based on your intended goals, that will take root in your subconscious mind. These suggestions should affect your thinking in a positive way and empower you to make change.

What can hypnosis help you with?

According to many sources including the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) which is part of the United States National Library of Medicine and a branch of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), hypnosis is scientifically proven to help relieve both mental challenges and physical pains. Hypnosis can alleviate stress and reduce pain after surgeries, has been shown to relieve anxiety in children in the emergency room, and can be useful for managing pain associated with everything from arthritis to migraines. Hypnosis is non-invasive and gives you a way to control pain or discomfort that might otherwise seem out of your hands. Hypnosis shouldn’t be used as a substitute for medical care, but may be an excellent complementary tool that is best provided by a trained therapist or licensed medical provider. The University of Maryland Medical Center shares many conditions for which hypnosis can be useful:

  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Tension headaches
  • Alopecia areata
  • Asthma
  • Phobias
  • Insomnia
  • Addictions
  • Bedwetting
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Labor and delivery
  • Skin disorders, such as acne, psoriasis and eczema (atopic dermatitis)
  • Stress
  • Tinnitus (ringing in the ears)
  • Cancer-related pain
  • Weight loss
  • Eating disorders
  • Warts
  • Indigestion (dyspepsia)
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder
