My husband and I are a great team: responsible, knowledgeable horse owners who have experienced first hand what a great need there is in our community for reliable horse sitters. Our approach is: dependability, responsibility, excellent communication and compassionate care of your animals. Our express goals are for you to be 100% happy, and to develop a strong relationship with your animals. We are insured which should give you peace of mind that we will take the utmost care of your property and pets. We also own dogs and cats (5 to be exact) and have cared for alpacas and cows, just as an aside. Feel free to ask us any questions as communication is invaluable in this line of work.

Lisa and Doug are extremely personable and listened to my concerns and paid attention to my instructions. Lisa includes a questionnaire to help identify the care you are looking for and expect, which is very helpful. I have had a lot of younger people look after my animals and it seems that there are always problems that they run into and can’t work though. With Lisa and Doug you can rest assured that they will be able to problem Solve on the fly. My outdoor water tank heater seal broke which resulted in the tank running dry... Lisa and Doug found my spare tank, replaced the leaking tank and did a temporary install of the heater which worked very well until I returned and was able to get a new heater seal unit.... I can honestly say that I would not have any confidence in any of my previous pet sitters to handle this situation as well as Lisa and Doug did! Kudos to them for a job well done, I will continue to use their services!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices are negotiable but my husband and I both come out and work diligently to take care of your animals! We usually come twice a day for feedings and charge $50. We can discuss your particular needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We would like to come out and meet you and your horses and discuss the particulars of their care and your expectations. We have a questionnaire that will help guide this process so that everyone is on the same page and you are happy and feel confident to leave them in our care.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My husband and I have owned horses for many years. We both have groundwork training as well as in the saddle training. In addition, I have been a volunteer in the horse therapy setting and have worked with MANY different horses and with many different riders.
