I feel that my speciality is that when I take on a project I value my client's input and respect their expectations immensely. I feel that it doesn't take a large amount of money to create a beautiful living space. It takes creativity, resourcefulness and imagination; my specialty is being able to maximize my clients’ budgets and making work without compromising on quality or style. I have a comprehensive team of painters, contractors, movers, electricians, tiling/stonework and housecleaning during/after the project. I have cultivated my team through the years and each person on my team is the best that I have found, all vetted and insured, so that it’s one stop service for the project. What I love most about being a designer is having the opportunity to bring joy to my clients by creating beautiful, functional spaces that are livable and comfortable.

Jenine helped me finish my living room. She has a fantastic eye! She picked beautiful fabrics for the drapes, pillows and window seat. She suggested recessed lights and crown molding which were sorely needed and she is overseeing the installation of each of these. I love her suggestions and she is great to work with.

Our work with Jenine was entirely a pleasure. Almost three years ago now, we moved into a new home with so much design and decorative opportunity and no idea where to start. Jenine spent time getting to know us and our taste, worked with our budget, presented us with options suited to our needs and introduced us to a painter who did a beautiful job and a contractor we love and still use today for home improvements large and small. Jenine helped us across the board from choosing colors and furnishings for different rooms, furniture styles, area rugs and setting up a home office. We worked together for several months as the house came together. Jenine ordered everything for us, and was attentive to our feedback and needs every step of the way. She is very easy going, super flexible and gave us as much time as we needed with as much information as we asked for to make the right decisions for our new home. We are still thrilled with the result.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees range from by the hour for smaller projects and for consults, and a flat rate for larger engagements so that we can maintain the client’s budget. I am very fair in pricing and lend my discounts to my clients. I commit to one quote for the work to be done, and if I feel that my time will go over that I will let my client know we are reaching that point, and never give my client a surprise invoice.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically have a phone conversation first to get a scope of the project, chat with a potential new client and get some basic information from them. From there, if the client feels comfortable with me and would like to meet in person for a consultation, I will travel to their home to see the project in person, and hopefully formally engage the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member do ASID which hosts many many dynamic speakers, Industry and Individuals, that I attend regularly. My particular interest is the psychological impact of a well designed home on people's lives.
