FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I take pride in offering quality work at fair, honest prices. I'm not your average handyman looking to get rich by overcharging for unnecessary work. My focus is on doing the job right and treating people with respect. I also offer a 10% discount to all military personnel (with valid ID) and seniors over 65 as a thank you for your service and contribution.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet all of my clients in person—it's important to me. You can learn a lot by talking face-to-face, and I believe it builds trust from the start. During that first meeting, I also like to look at the job in person so I can give a fair and accurate estimate. This helps me avoid overcharging or undercharging, and it ensures there are no surprises later. If I’m hired, I make it a point to explain the work step by step, so my customers always know exactly what I’m doing and why. I believe good communication is just as important as good workmanship.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I didn’t go to college, which disappointed my parents (RIP) at first—but my father gave me some advice that stuck with me: "Invest, and you can make it in life." So I did. I bought my first property at 18 and started working on the house myself, learning home repairs as I went. Over time, I not only got good at fixing homes but also started to understand the investment side of real estate. That’s when I began buying distressed properties, renovating them myself, and flipping them. I’ve built a strong skill set through hands-on experience, and I’ve continued flipping houses while also offering handyman services to others. It's work I take pride in—and I bring that same care and attention to every job I do for my clients.
