We are in the middle of our renovation with G&R Design and Construction and we cannot say enough great things about this husband/wife team. We are undertaking a large project updating a 1989 house, including 3 bathrooms, laundry, master bedroom, front room, dining, family room and kitchen. Giselle is a creative designer paying attention to detail for every venue, including the tedious ordering process, ensuring goods arriive in a timely manner. Ricardo is an on hands general contractor, most always on site to ensure work is being done to his expectations, which are very high. He himself goes above and beyond when he has a tool in his hand and his sub contractors are of the same caliber. The daily clean up is always welcome to a homeowner, never a wrapper or plastic bottle strewn. We are only halfway through our project and are most pleased in every way possible. G & R design came to my attention by a trusted referral. While they have favorable reviews, unfortunately my experience was quite the opposite. I am a senior citizen and I hired the owner Ricardo in good faith. The tile installation performed in my home was certainly not executed by highly experienced tile setters. There were issues of concern during the entire process, and communication problems as English was not understood by the G & R subcontractors. Possibly my experience is an isolated one. Although now unfortunately its up to me to have to deal with the aftermath. Ricardo did not come by once to check on his workers performance. And further, he will not take responsibility for their workmanship. Instead of treating me with professionalism and doing the right thing, by keeping his word, he is now minimizing my concerns and relaying untruths. At my age I have little patience for people who blatantly lie. Ricardo promised to correct the misalignment of several rows of tile in one of my rooms. He now communicates to me by text/email using vague verbiage, stating the installation was performed to the appropriate standards, and guidelines of the industry. In all fairness, is this a response from a company who professes to maintain the highest customer service and satisfaction? And further promises to correct the mistakes? I genuinely dislike having to write a review of this nature, although I feel the need to get the truth out based upon my own personal experience. Working with this company is certainly not what I expected. I am now forced to secure other estimates and get professional input regarding the poor installation in this room. The misalignment of the tile is evident when observed by other tile installers, and especially when they use a laser light. I have asked Ricardo and his wife to resolve this amicably, and foremost asking that he keep his promise to correct the poor installation. My request so far is going on deaf ears. I have lost my faith in G&R Design. I wish I knew how to include photos to support my statements. There are other issues I would like to convey, however I feel Ive said enough. I value quality workmanship, this the reason I hired G&R. What poor judgement on my part. The company who corrects this poor installation will be vetted more closely.

G&R Design services were on time and professional from beginning to end. We've been struggling to find a backsplash installer for months and finally found G&R Design Services that scheduled us within a few days and made the entire process easy.
