FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
That no Pro can make an accurate quote without seeing the job first. I can give a fixed hourly rate, but that sometimes scares a potential customer as they don't understand fully how the job is quoted time-wise. I would much prefer to talk out the project knowing the customers budget. I am ALWAYS willing to work within that budget as their are always options that I understand, but that the customer may not even know about as they do not do my work on a day to day basis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Learn what they are hoping to accomplish and taking them step by step through the process so there is a good understanding on both sides of what to expect in cost, materials and time and any options available.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
From HS shop, cabinet making, as well as jobs installing carpet, testing concrete, roofing, framing, masonry, painting, drywall...over 30 years experience.
