I called Hood Security for an in-home TV repair. After providing Mr Hood with the make and model of the TV he located a Sony service bulletin. Sony is aware of this issue and will cover all expenses "parts and labor" for an in home repair. Since Mr Hood isn't a Sony repair facility he was out of the repair process. Mr Hood could have concealed the warranty bulletin and collected on the repair. He chose to inform me of the repair campaign by the manufacture excluding himself from any payment and saving me a pile of money. I'd give Mr Hood 10 stars if that was an option on Google. I appreciate the super fast response and most importantly his honesty.
