I’m not sure what may have happened but Mr. Garrett completely stopped responding a week before the day we scheduled to get our deck rebuilt by his team. I had reached out to him last week letting him know we had to go with another contractor that was available sooner as our deck was in bad shape and falling apart. Unfortunately the previous contractor messed up the deck and I reached back out to PHI and asked if they could come assess the work to see if there was a solution to repair the issues. Worst case scenario the deck would have to be completely redone and we were ok with that as the last contractor apologized and decided to refund us the money completely since they admitted fault. PHI agreed to come take a look this past weekend, he had something come up and rescheduled to 7/29/25. I reached back out that morning to confirm if he was coming and no response, reached back out the next day to confirm if they were still keeping their original appointment of 7/31/25 to rebuild our deck and still no response. I was excited to work with PHI and his team but the lack of response is the reason for this average review. Even if he would have said he couldn’t do anything for us that would have been better than no response. *Update* Mr. Garrett eventually reached back out stating he had trouble with receiving notifications via his app. I understand that he has another fulltime job and so his responses are a bit delayed. Unfortunately his response time to us was 2-3 business days between messages so we eventually had to go with another contractor for the repair as we had a scheduled home appraisal on Aug 20th and really needed the deck fixed before then. I'm sure they do great work in the home we just weren't able to use them due to lack of timely response. Increase in rating as they did follow back up and tried to make it right.
