FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing varies depending on the scope of work. Generally, I charge based on the overall size of the project, with variables depending on the design choices.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start the process by asking you a few questions about what you are looking for and photos for design inspiration to help provide you with a rough sketch and an estimate. Once the deposit has been paid, I visit your home to take precise measurements and talk more about the details of the project. Then, I work on drawing up detailed plans to give you a visual of what the end product will look like from which we collaborate on the specifics.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois Business School. I have 10 years of professional marketing experience for several fortune 500 companies prior to starting my woodworking business (part time) in 2017, and ultimately going full time in 2019. My professional business background working for an interior architecture firm for several years has given me a hefty bit of client service and graphic design skills as it relates to designing my woodwork.
