In 2010, I had some sheer curtains made for my bedroom that looked good for about a year. The material had a bit of silk in it and, after a while, they started disintegrating because the silk can't handle the sun. That my previous service provider didn't know this would occur with silk was ridiculous. She was also MIA. See the before pic. I had Gia and her team make some new sheer curtains for my bedroom. They turned out beautifully. I am thrilled. Gia was delightful. She visited my house and measured for the curtains. I needed them for the sliding class doors and transom in my master bedroom so they are not a standard size. She had tons of fabric to choose from and we picked something fabulous. We chatted after she measured and I learned that she inherited her business from her father for whom she started working as a youngster. When he retired, she was the obvious choice to take over the company. As a fellow female small biz owner, I like to support other women in biz. Gia fits that bill. I received an estimate the next day. It was $500 less than the other estimates I had gotten. I sent the deposit and the curtains were ready within 10 days. Gia and Ed installed the curtains which look amazing. Before installing, Ed cleaned the window and the framing so that my new curtains would not get dirty. He also fixed the rod because the previous installer had done it incorrectly. It was ready to fall down! Ed to the rescue. As for the new curtains.... Without my asking, Gia weighted the bottom of the curtains so they would hang properly. She also made them slightly shorter than my previous sheers so they wouldn't fray on the bottom. Great attention to detail. I am delighted with the work Gia and Ed did. My new sheers look better than the old ones ever did and cost considerably less. Given that they are made from a synthetic material, they will never disintegrate. I want to do a few other projects at my house when I can gather the funds and I will only use Gia to get this work done. This was my first time using Thumbtack and I couldn't be happier. What a great experience!

Each job is different therefore there is no standard pricing for our services.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first talk with the customer over the phone or through email. We get an idea of what they are trying to do, we then make an appointment at a convenient time to meet the customer at the job site. When we come out to the location, we bring samples, take measurements, provide a proposal detailing the work and product selection, and price.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in this industry for over 25 years. I regularly attend industry trade shows to stay up to date on the latest products and technology.
