Hi! I’m Hagir, owner of Day-Of & Co., a month/day-of coordination company. We’re experienced in coordinating all types of weddings and celebrations, and especially proud to specialize in multicultural and multilingual ones across Chicago and the Chicagoland area. For the right client fit, we are also happy to travel a bit further out.😊 I’ve planned and coordinated over 50 weddings both in the U.S. and overseas, including in the Dominican Republic, London, and Portugal. Hagir was nothing short of my guardian angel during my wedding. Hiring her was the best decision I made through this whole wedding process! I am so glad I hired her when I realized how overwhelmed I was the week before my wedding and she jumped right in and executed so much communication and coordination for us. It’s incredible what she pulled off for me, dealing with opinionated family members, my scattered communication, and details that still needed to be planned the week-of, all with such professionalism and compassion. Having a wedding in your parents’ backyard sounds simple, but can also be complicated with lots of cooks in the kitchen. Hagir took the helm and handled everyone with the grace and leadership we needed. She also rushed ahead to our reception at Barrington’s White House and provided much needed coordination help. What a busy background bee- none of our guests knew about how hard she was working in the background, they just experienced a seamless lovely party! I feel so truly lucky to have found Hagir, and I know it would NOT have all come together so well without her! If you can get her, don’t wait! Just hire her! I wish I had brought her on so much sooner! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Hagir! You are the BEST and so excellent at what you do!

Hiring Hagir was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the moment we brought her on, just three-ish weeks before our big day, she completely exceeded our expectations. It truly felt like all of our stress melted away once she stepped in. Her communication leading up to and throughout the wedding was flawless. She kept us informed, reassured, and always a step ahead. On the day of, her coordination was not only thorough and organized but seamless! Everything ran so smoothly that we were able to just enjoy the moment. What really stood out was her demeanor. She remained professional, and incredibly supportive. She handled every detail with grace and made us feel cared for in every interaction. She talked both of our fathers into giving toasts. It’s such a small detail on paper, but in reality, it turned into one of our favorite memories of the day. That alone speaks volumes about how gifted she is at her job. Hagir’s punctuality and reliability gave us so much peace of mind. We knew we could count on her and her amazing team, and they absolutely delivered. Because of them, our wedding wasn’t just beautiful, it was unforgettable. Hagir went above and beyond, and we’ll forever be grateful that she played such a big role in making our night everything we dreamed of and more.

Hagir definitely is well-informed and knows what is best as the expertise shows. She was informative and helpful with communication and timing. We didn't have to go looking for her, she came looking for us when communication between client and photographer were needed. photographers will enjoy working with her as did I. Hagir prioritizes brides needs and wants while making sure photographers aren't left behind with whereabouts. She puts a good meaning to being a day of coordinator, you'll see how helpful she is for everyone

Choosing Day of & Co. for my wedding was the best decision I made! When my venue failed to execute my seating chart, she completely reinvented the plan and had everyone settled in record time, all before my husband and I entered for our first dance. What's more, the way she arranged the seating was even better than my original vision, and it all happened so seamlessly on the day of. As if that wasn't enough, her assistant took incredible photos of me and my husband, capturing moments we would have otherwise missed since we didn't hire a photographer. I am forever grateful for her quick thinking and excellent service, and I'll definitely be calling her for any future events!

I aim to work within each client’s budget while maintaining fair pricing that reflects my experience, attention to detail, and the value I provide. I’m happy to tailor packages or explore creative solutions so we can achieve your vision fairly for both of us. At this time, I am offering 20% off my packages for 2025 bookings and 2026 bookings that are secured by the end of 2025.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start by getting to know my clients—understanding their style, priorities, and vision for the day. A Zoom call is a great way for us to connect and get a feel for one another, ensuring we’re a good fit, but phone calls work too! From there, I focus on what matters most to you, adjusting my approach as needed so we can create a seamless and personalized coordination plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I bring over 15 years of experience in politics and diplomacy, where I planned and executed high-level official delegations, international conferences, and VIP events with precision and discretion. Alongside my professional career, I have spent more than 20 years planning and managing weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, and other milestone celebrations for friends and family. This combination of diplomatic protocol expertise and hands-on event experience allows me to handle every detail with professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and creativity.
