Very frustrating miscommunication with the contractor. When I asked if he could do everything entailed in basement finishing and even sent over a preliminary blueprint detailing the scope of work (including details on HVAC and plumbing) I was told yes it could be done. Then I find out after taking time out of my day for him to come over and do the estimate that he doesn’t do HVAC or plumbing. The contractor really needs to stick to carpentry and not bid on jobs way outside their scope.
