Shani was passionate about protecting my financial interests like a mother bear protecting her cubs! She brought Diana (with expertise in business law) into my case to protect my interests in a business that I started 22 years ago. Diana was able to prevent my ex from taking over my business by sorting out complicated ownership issues. Thanks to Diana and Shani, I was protected from what could have been an intolerable situation without an end in sight!

I contacted Shani to represent me in a divorce and custody matter. These cases are stressful for anyone but as a male I felt as though I would be at a disadvantage in the eyes of the court. Shani made me feel comfortable and assured me that this is a false perception and the courts do not favor the mother nor the father these case.
Shani was not able to handle my case directly but she paired me with a colleague from her firm, Beth. She was great! Beth was very responsive to my questions and listened to my concerns about the case. Although she was empathetic to my personal feelings about the situation she never lost sight of the facts that would truly matter in the eyes of the law. Because of her understanding of my case, and Maryland law we were able to reach a favorable outcome in court.
I should also say, we all know that attorneys and divorces are expensive. Shani and Beth were excellent stewards of my retainer. They never contacted me for minor things or attempted to charge me unnecessarily. Their invoices are itemized and transparent.

I submitted an online request for advice and possible representation from Shani Dinovitz. She called me moments later and walked me through my mutual consent divorce case. She even looked at my marital settlement agreement and advised me that I didn't need a lawyer, and that I could get a free lawyer to help secure a protective order. I was very impressed with her clear advice and very thankful that she was sensitive to my situation. If I ever need a lawyer again, I will certainly reach out to her.
