Had 3 quotes for removing wall-to-wall carpet from flight of stairs and replacing with oak (treads & risers). Marvin not only gave me the lowest quote, he identified issues with similar work done on basement stairs by another contractor. He added in very reasonable price to redo their work properly, and his quote was still less than the original contractor's just for the upper staircase, and MUCH less than the 3rd contractor's quote for both upper stairs & basement stairs re-do. Plus Marvin was much more accommodating and helpful when it came to matching stair stain colour to railings. The quality of his work was excellent, and he found me a very reasonably-priced painter to touch up the mouldings which got unavoidably dinged-up during carpet removal.

Marvin and his partner were excellent. They replaced a section of subfloor for me that was rotting due to some moisture. They were reasonably priced and efficient and cleaned up debris from the work. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Oh and I called them the day before and they were there first thing in the morning. Awesome!!
