I have been fortunate enough to learn from and work with some of the best photographers in Michigan. I have spent the last 6 years shooting tens of thousands of photos, and it still never gets old showing someone a photo they loved after they've told me they've hated getting their pictures taken in the past. I genuinely like what I do and love meeting new people. Now my career has taken on a life of its own, and I am busier than ever. I have a degree in Photography and another in 3D Motion Graphics & Design. I am also insured through and a member of the Professional Photographers of America, where I am currently working on getting my Masters. I understand how important it is to get "the shot". Weddings, confirmations, sports and the like are those once in a lifetime moments that you should be able to cherish for years to come. I encourage you to read my reviews and check out my website. I was given a very tight time frame of 4 days in which to get a professional head shot taken. After casting the net for this tall order, JL Photography was not only the first to step up to the plate but came in with the most cost effective option. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are set because of the time and attention to detail that is provided. I care about your experience and the work I produce for you. I believe what you will pay compared to what you get will surprise you.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a text from me and or a call from you. After that we simply go from there. I enjoy working with people. My job is to make your life less stressful.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a husband of 15 years. I am father of 4 beautiful kids (14, 12, 2 and 11 months) I am a high school grad, who served 8 years active Army with over 30 jumps. (Airborne!) who was honorably discharged in 2008. I have three degrees from Macomb Community College. (Motion Graphics, Photography, and General Studies) I am a member of the PPA (Professional Photographers of America) where I am currently working on getting my Masters.
