Good evening.
Project: Finish carpentry (installed beadboard wainscoting, rail molding, & baseboard). For our, small powder room, first-level, which is adjacent to the kitchen & side door entry. Michael completed the project in 2-days (12/20-12/22/21). Detroit.
Michael has an approachable & likable personality. He's warm-spirited, punctual, & has good communication & interpersonal skills. Also, he's flexible & dependable.

My husband and I noticed some mild imperfections with installing the beadboard wainscoting panelings, cutting/rim, & caulking the molding. The attention to detail & precision of the finish carpentry didn't meet our expectations. However, Michael did a fine job installing the beadboards & cleaning the job site.
My husband and I takeaway are to make sure we are present to oversee our projects to ensure that the quality work is to our expectations. We always give people the benefit of the doubt. 🙃
Would we hire Michael, again? Yes!😊
Note: We asked Michael not to paint the inside corners molding or touches.

Michael redid my entire bathroom and did a fantastic job.. I couldn't have asked for a better job... He was real easy to work with and did everything I asked... I will recommend him to all my family and friends

hired because i needed my bathroom tiled, tiles were crooked and had to pay someone to redo the entire shower area. every tile is dirty and grout is too so now i am hiring someone else to clean all the tiles and grout. nice guy otherwise

Was quoted for 3-4 days worth of work to hang 4 closet doors, two entry doors, trim a doorway, install baseboard and trim using coping method. He spent 2 days here: all closet doors are crooked, don't close properly, installed incorrectly, and he "forgot" to install some of the hardware. Both entry doors are crooked and not level, one want even stay open. Most of the trim is crooked with many gaps and a pretty poor job at coping. Trim on stairs is laughable, there is exposed holes in the wall from previous trim. Just pure laziness or ignorance here. Trim around doorway is just pure laziness too, nail sticking right through the side...cmon. Baseboard is just eh, saw a coping saw on the table while he was working but doesn't quite grasp the idea. We called him to come back and look at our issues. He agreed to come back the following week to correct them and also reimburse us for new materials to replace the damaged stuff on Dec 21st. Then his family got sick and we haven't heard from him since, it's now Jan. 9th. I really can't believe he'd leave our house like this and then disappear. Lost a lot of faith in humanity with this guy. Definitely recommend not to hire and avoid the headache of not only having to do the work again but also having to buy new material. I'm a strong believer in karma and hope this one comes back to him ten-fold.
