FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For painting I charge per square foot and take into consideration travel time, the condition of the walls, ceilings, etc. and if I need to move furniture. For counseling and coaching, the first appointment is ALWAYS free as it is an intake interview and we need to discover if my services are right for you. After that, pricing is determined upon the plan that the client feels suits them best.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a hunger to see people develop into their best selves despite the circumstances they were in. At a young age I found myself in situations helping people through counseling and coaching and I’ve always had a hunger to serve in this manner for as long as I can remember. It was in London in the Fall of 2009 when I first discovered life coaching and by the following I became certified as a life coach. Since then, I have served at a variety of churches and non profits counseling and coaching and have been quite successful in helping people overcome limiting belief systems both mentally and spiritually. I got started in the painting line of work over ten years ago when I was hired on for a small brick staining company. After almost 6 years with the company, I relocated but took the skills I learned with me and found that my steady hand and skills with rollers, sprayers and similar equipment really fit my personality well.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I’ve worked with people as young as 8 and as old as 63; both men and women alike suffering from depression, anxiety, spiritual abuse, sense of spiritual loss, sexual abuse, PTSD, relational issues, marriage difficulties and addictions just to name a few. Also I’ve worked with people who simply want more from life, people who feel stuck, people who aren’t sure what they want, people who are dissatisfied and unhappy and people who want change but feel helpless to get it. My ideal customer is someone who is dissatisfied with how things are and is ready to do something about it or someone who believes they are broken beyond repair.
