Positives - Pillars, railing and deck cleaned, repainted and/or stained. Looks really nice and could be confused for a brand new deck. He was responsive right away, quote was with in budget. He completed project within the week minus a day because of weather. Negatives - some overspray of paint as if I would have done it, screws and debris from project left out around deck. Asked questions after project about drying, got 1 response but no other follow up when asked for clarity or if another coat of stain was needed. More positives than negatives and the negatives are more than manageable. Hard to see negatives from a distance but I was looking. From a distance you will never know. Glad I saw screws and such before I mowed. Would definitely hire again if I need a painting project complete

Really pleased! He and his wife and one of his sons came out to repair part of my siding that goes way up. The price quoted for labor is what I expected. I had all the materials except for the long pieces for the trim. There was no written contract and he didn't write anything down, so I was a little worried if he'd show or get the trim, but everything turned out great. Very good work, and I'll be hiring him to help update my deck once I order the materials. Here are some before and after photos.

Unfortunately work was never completed. I called him out to remove boards on deck and fill a hole from previous owner. While he was here he said he could repaint and power wash deck etc so to make it work his time I agreed. We agreed on price and the next day he came out with two women to start working. When I noticed them power washing and no boards or hole filled, I asked why he wasn’t doing that first, he said he went and looked with a flash light and there was no hole to be filled so he wasn’t going to remove boards or patch a hole and just do the other things but charge me the same price. That is NOT what I wanted or agreed to. So I asked for him to just come back and pull the boards up and I’d find someone to do the rest, he came, sawed out my deck boards and left with the money. So now I have tilted stairs, a hand rail not finished and deck boards sawed out. But the hole that Escobar said was not there was and thankfully I was able to get it filled/patched. Very upset about how this all happened, especially without communication on what he was going to just change and do without it being what we agreed on. Picture of the hole that I was told by him wasn’t there! He is a nice enough guy but it’s frustrating to be taken advantage of as a female!
