I called with one issue - I needed a new thermostat installed. They were prompt, professional and friendly. They examined my furnace, furnace filter, air vents, thermostat, my central air unit outside. They concluded that I needed a new thermostat - $325. I declined hiring them. The low rating is because they wanted $85 for coming out - something they did not tell me upfront. Thumbtack did not mention this. I firmly believe this charge should have been disclosed prior to me providing my address or scheduling the appointment. I could then have decided if I wanted the company to come out.
