I had one start beeping around 11:45 pm on a Friday night. I put the request out on Thumbtack, and Keith responded by 12:30 am. He added me on after work he already had scheduled on Saturday. He was very professional. He got right to work changed the smoke detector at 14 feet first, then did the other 4. He took no breaks, and figured out what he needed to do for each one, as some presented a little bit different challenge. He was pleasant, and his price was more than fare. I will use Keith again in the future."See more

Carlos was friendly but he said he could do an exterior door when apparently that's not something he does often. He purchased a >$400 door which we thought together was the correct size but despite having help from a friend did not properly check fitment of the door before cutting it to move a hinge. The door had about a 0.5" gap so it would not be usable without doing extensive reframing. Since the door was cut it could not be returned. I asked if he could use it for another job since it's a standard size but he said he rarely does exterior doors (red flag). He still charged me $300 in labor despite not actually doing the job correctly. I asked them to keep the $400+ door and refund the labor in good faith - have not received a refund. Sorry folks but this is not acceptable. If you're going to modify a door to fit, you should be absolutely sure it fits the client's frame first.

Nathan did an awesome job! He was responsive and very flexible during the whole process, especially in picking up the doors from Lowes especially when Lowes gave the wrong doors to him and we had to go back! Roman was awesome! He installed a 'frame' door from Home Depot in our solid brick house. We spoke with a lot of people prior to finding Roman, and all them said we would have to pay 2-3x for a custom door.
