At Blackfin, we believe in transparent, fair pricing with no hidden fees. Our bookkeeping packages are customized to your business size and needs, and we also offer hourly cleanup work when books need extra attention. We’re not the cheapest firm—and that’s intentional. Instead, we focus on delivering maximum value: most clients save several times our fee in tax savings, efficiency gains, and reduced stress. We also offer a referral program where both you and your referral can benefit. If you’re looking for a low-cost, one-size-fits-all solution, we may not be the right fit. But if you want a dedicated financial partner who will help you keep more of what you earn, we’d love to work with you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a quick call to learn about your business, your goals, and any challenges you’re facing with your books or taxes. From there, we’ll review your current financials and give you a clear plan—whether that’s a simple monthly bookkeeping package, tax strategy support, or a cleanup of past records. Once we’re aligned, we set you up with a dedicated bookkeeper (and tax pro if needed) who handles everything from day one. You’ll have direct communication, fast response times (usually within 24 hours), and proactive check-ins so you’re never left wondering where things stand. Our goal is simple: make your finances stress-free, accurate, and tax-ready year-round so you can focus on growing your business.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team brings a mix of formal accounting education, certifications, and years of hands-on experience supporting service-based businesses. We’re trained in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Gusto payroll, and stay current on IRS regulations and small-business tax strategies through ongoing professional development. Just as important, we’ve worked with dozens of businesses across industries—law firms, dental/medical offices, contractors, realtors, and more—so we know the real-world challenges you face and how to solve them quickly.
