BEWARE!!! unless you like sloppy work that needs correction and a language barrier which will be used as an excuse to do things and not say anything. I hired Manuel to paint and finish the basement. He and his team did a rushed sloppy job with both. Unfortunately, I learned a valuable lesson - you pay for what you get. On top of the poor job, Manuel brought his girlfriend to my house and she ended up calling the police on him because she wanted to leave. 4 COPS SHOWED UP TO MY HOUSE! My child answered the door! Mind you I just moved in so this is not a great impression. He also used my credit card to buy saw blades that he needed for my project. I had to explain that was not an authorized expense for my card and he should have used his own. He is also dishonest! The windows wouldn’t close all the way after he put the Sheetrock. I asked for him to fix and he said “it’s not my problem” and his fix was to put 2 screws in the windows. When asked if he did it he lied to my face and said he hadn’t. Now I have a fire hazard. To top everything off, his truck breaks down in my driveway and despite being told it would be towed 6-7 am, it wasn’t until 11am. No access to my garage or drive way. NEVER AGAIN!!
