They offered to clean dryer vent for additional charge, and I agreed. Then, I heard someone messing with my dryer machine controls without asking me first. After they left, my washer, which was near the dryer, stopped working, main board computer failed. Maybe it was messed with too, I am not sure. After vent cleaning, there was a mess left behind in a small bathroom, toilet, and bathtub that I had to clean up.

I booked a duct cleaning service for an apartment I own. I was out of town when the work was done. The tenant was happy but the cost was much more than I had expected. It seems the standard fee was $30 per duct and $120 for a dryer vent. That should have been listed upfront instead of a $69 service call that would be credited against the bill if hired. Turns out that there still was a $49 dispatch fee charged. If I had known those costs upfront I would have looked elsewhere. The company should have listed their standard fees upfront or they should have offered a free estimate.
