So happy I connected with David through Thumbtack. At the ripe old age of 60, I decided it’s now or never to try to fulfill my dream of playing guitar. After two attempts (albeit failed attempts) at group lessons through the years, I decided on individual lessons or bust. After almost a year of lessons with David, I feel like it’s really starting to stick. He has an incredible talent, is so patient, professional, and really pushes you to keep you learning, using so many techniques beyond traditional strumming. I think he believes in me more than i believe in myself, but that’s what keeps me going! If you are hesitant or feeling a little apprehensive like I was signing on for lessons through Thumbtack, I promise you won’t be disappointed with David. He is a great guy. My fees are generally at market level. However I accept only a limited number of motivated students

It is most important to work at the proper pace so the student is not frustrated.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a BA in music, MA in music education, and an MA in Theatre Arts. I have directed choruses and orchestras as well as more than 30 full scale musicals
