I am so thrilled to have found Jhonny for my door installation project. He responded to my inquiry immediately, showed up early for an onsite estimate, steered me away from a product that he thought was too expensive and came up with a much cheaper alternative that achieved the same beautiful effect. He also was able to troubleshoot a doorway that was not custom-sized. It’s such a gift to find talented professionals, and I can’t wait to work with him in the future.

It's hard to know where to begin with this review because there are just so many good things to cover. Jhonny was recommended to us by an old colleague and he surpassed any of the expectations we could have had. After recently purchasing our first home, we needed someone to build a kitchen on the rental floor and were struggling to find someone consistent who came as highly recommended as Jhonny did. Here is a list (in no particular order) of all the reasons Jhonny deserves 10 out of 5 stars and why you should consider him for your future contracting needs. 1) Responsible - Jhonny was ALWAYS on time. And by on time, I mean he arrived 15 -20 minutes before the scheduled start time in order to look for parking and drop off all materials. 2) Clear communication - Jhonny gave an honest and transparent explanation of what he could and could not do. He gave us day-by-day updates on the project as it progressed. He would go out of his way to accommodate not just what we needed, but little touches that he thought might make the final product look and function that much better. 3) Good Record-Keeping - Jhonny provided us with a detailed invoice at the start of the project and upon giving him a downpayment he e-mailed us an updated invoice that recorded the remaining total and confirmed receipt of the money. 4) Problem solver - Most contractors do what you ask them to do and leave. Jhonny works collaboratively with you and even offers up suggestions about how to make adjustments that could help with pricing/function/visual appeal. 5) Safety - Jhonny consistently wore his mask throughout the two weeks we worked together and with the exception of one weekend where he brought someone to help him finish the painting, he was the only person that entered our space. He is someone you can trust in your home and there is no price tag that can be placed on that peace of mind. We are already planning our future home projects with Jhonny. He's coming back in January for a door and closet shelving installation. This man is worth every penny he charges. Get on his calendar as soon as you can. He books up quickly, as he should.

DLS Construction did what he promised. He installed my exterior door and frame in a timely fashion. I contacted him on Wednesday through thumb tack. Emailed back and forth. Came by on Sunday to view the basement exterior door. Tuesday the door was placed. He did really great work. I would hire him again. Thank you Evie
