Benjamin Albrecht Landscape

I am a gardener, designer, and builder dedicated to transforming neglected spaces into thriving, ecological oases. With a passion for sustainability and a keen eye for design, I bring both creativity and expertise to every project. After earning my degree in Art and Neuroscience from Dartmouth College in 2016, I moved to New York to pursue my painting practice (you can see some of my work here). Along the way, my interests expanded to architecture, design, and ecology. I spent several years honing my skills as a garden installer and landscaper. I later completed courses at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and a six-week Iandscape architecture course through UC Berkeley’s College of Environmental Design. I eventually founded Benjamin Albrecht Design, LLC in 2022. Since then, I’ve completed many projects in NYC, upstate New York and California. I collaborate closely with my clients, blending their vision with my knowledge and aesthetic sensibilities, to create functional, beautiful and harmonious garden spaces.
