- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a flat $75/hour for in-home visits, with a 2-hour minimum for most jobs. That includes drive time, setup, and patient, friendly service. There are no hidden fees — I’ll always explain the issue first and make sure you’re comfortable with any recommendations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a quick phone call to understand your situation. Then we schedule a visit where I come to your home, walk through the issue together, and fix it while explaining everything I do in plain language. If needed, I leave you with a simple written summary and next steps. Many clients also ask me to help with other devices while I’m there!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been working in technology for over 15 years, helping both businesses and families with everything from Wi-Fi and computers to scam prevention and smart home devices. I stay up to date with cybersecurity and networking best practices — but most of all, I know how to explain tech in a way that makes sense to non-tech folks.
