Eric is an excellent electrician and an enthusiastic learner in the field, which makes him a great choice, despite the fact that he only has four years in the field. I first hired him to wire and install an outlet for our dryer. For this job, he gave me a list of materials to buy, giving me control of the materials cost. He finished in a timely manner and his work was clean and tidy. When he was done, we went down to inspect the work, and he fixed a stubborn nail that wouldn’t stay attached to the ceiling support.
I also asked Eric for a quote on a lighting project that I wanted done in our entryway, foyer and dining room. Eric gave me a few quotes and left the decision as to how to proceed with my husband and me. Eric returned within a week to begin the project and was dedicated to doing the work well, despite several unexpected turns in the project. Each time he found a new problem, he accepted the challenge of finding a solution, consulting with my husband and me each time to make sure we were okay with any additional time or money needed to complete the project. For example, when he found that the space between our first story ceiling and second story floor was not up to code (there’s only six inches between the floors, instead of the typical 10-12 inches), Eric researched and found a recessed light fixture that would fit the space and didn’t cost much extra. Also, while he was adding a light switch to an existing switch box, he realized that the existing wiring was too old and too short to connect to the new switch without being a fire hazard. He was willing to rewire the old fixture at a fraction of his normal labor cost to make sure our house would be safe and the whole switch up to code. Again, when the job was complete, Eric explained his work and how it connected to the existing electrical wiring and panel. He gave me recommendations for future work to increase the safety of our home. All the information was very helpful and made me feel much more knowledgeable and secure about our new home and its electrical system. When we found a problem during our inspection of the completed job, he was willing to fix it and didn’t charge me extra for the labor.
The only nit picky complaint I have is that a few things were patched up without as much care as I would have liked, leaving us with a bit of clean-up work. There were also a few times when he left certain things out that made our living spaces unsafe. Eric is very approachable, however, and willing to address and fix any of his clients’ concerns as he continues to improve his trade as an electrician. I would strongly recommend him for small electrical fixes as well as more involved projects.

E.R.I.A Wiring installed two electrical outlets in my basement. The electrician arrived on time.Upon his arrival the electrician gathered his tools and supplies and immediately began working the install. His work was neat and clean. Afterwards he even help me hang a light fixture in my diningroom.

Excellent service! Fixed up a room in our basement that had some small issues! Workmanship was great and they were able to work with our schedule, even getting the work done on Sundays! We will definitely be using them again for other projects we have in the future!
