About
I specialize in fun, engaging teaching for developing an organic piano technique. I earned my master of music (M.Mus.) degree from Kent State, leading group piano classes on a graduate teaching assistantship. I enjoyed musical training in Europe through acceptance into the Bosendorfer Summer Piano Institute. I also earned the division achievement award in piano pedagogy, and was selected as winner of the Clara Rolland piano competition at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where I received my undergraduate degree in piano performance.
I enjoy nurturing the progress of students toward musical mastery to become well-rounded artists capable of self-expression at the piano for a lifetime.

Sean is very professional and is always looking for new ways to engage and educate my kids. They love going to piano lessons and even practicing is less of a chore with the fun ideas and rewards that Sean comes up with. He really connects with the kids and always makes sure to give me an update on their progress.

Sean is an excellent piano teacher. My daughters, ages 16 and 10yrs, progressed rapidly in a year. Neither had played an instrument and a year later can read and play! Sean is a patient teacher who is positive and encouraging.

Multi-child discount. He is a genuinely nice guy and good with kids having his own. He clearly knows music and how to teach it. We have been taking lessons for a year and I am happy with my kids' progress and enjoyment of music

Mr. Morris is a wonderful, kind, and professional piano instructor. I have two children, ages 6 and 8, both of whom love him and have found a genuine enjoyment in playing the piano. I highly recommend Mr. Morris to anyone, especially for those who are just starting out.

Very amazing man. Very passionate about his work.
