There's a lot of remodeling that needs to be done and I would prefer to have the peace of mind that the remodeling being done today isn't going to cause my kids to have health problems 30 years down the road. edit: Samples were of sheetrock. The asbestos is 2% Chrysotile - Joint Compound and 2% Chrysotile - Old Texture. edit/update: I got a professional to come out within an hour of contacting a company. The estimator was very professional/friendly gave me a super rough estimate for the whole house (ouch) and took pictures of the areas of immediate concern to work up a quote for just that work. We were able to come a great Price that worked with Both.
