I had 1 company out earlier in the morning and they told me it was just how my HVAC system was built. Skeptical - I thought I would try for a second opinion. I called and I was pushed through to Josh. Josh spoke to me about the issue and then made a call to a sub-contractor who came out within 45 mins and was AMAZING! The found the issue - fixed it on the spot and was very helpful in explaining the issue. great work and would recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC help.

Working in construction I know a fair amount of contractors and I can say EP210 I would certainly recommend. Rey quickly diagnosed and resolved an issue with my water pan overflowing near my air handler Cleared out the line and fixed the system in a short time. His quote for his service was reasonable and his customer service was great. Will definitely use him if any future issues were to arise and recommend for HVAC services.

I honestly had the best experience with this company and their techs. I am a new homeowner and I didn't know what to do or what to ask. I had my original contractor wrongly wire my thermostat and lead me to believe that the work that was required to fix it was extensive and expensive. Al and Bert were able to properly wire my heater and AC unit and had us up and running in almost no time. I would recommend this company to anyone in need of any HVAC work.

I needed to convert my current oil hot radiator heating system to 2 brand new HVAC system force air and central air. The duct work was flawlessly. The owner of the company Benny came performed the service, the work was done in a quick and professional fashion, the price was reasonable, no over charge neither sell the service I did not want. Benny knows his stuff, he was incredible thru out the whole process, answered every question, and went above and beyond to finish the project on time. I would 100% recommend Benny and Sub Zero HVAC to anyone looking for these services. He showed up on time and was extremely thorough in my heating system tune-up. He opened everything up, double and triple checked all sensors and even checked for gas leaks and carbon monoxide levels. Too often in this business people take advantage since the typical homeowner doesn't know better. This was not at all the case with Benny. He walked me through everything he was doing and took his time with it to ensure it was all in great working order. I have already planned follow up work for Benny to do in the spring with my air conditioning system. Thanks again, I am glad to have made this connection with a contractor I can trust.

Thank God for Gene with AirLife! It's 83 degrees out (feels like 87) today and my AC busted shortly after having my heater replaced a fe weeks ago. The contractor I had before AirLife said that I had a short in my system and that it would take a while to find and fix. But then I contacted AirLife, and Gene with AirLife found the short almost immediately, fixed it, and replaced both of my transformers which were getting blown due to the short. There were other problems with my condenser that he fixed as well, and this was all way cheaper than any other HVAC pros that had come out to fix a transformer (before the short was found, so they continued to blow out and charge me over $300 a pop, whereas with AirLife I think it was $187 plus labor cost). After Gene fixed my short and one transformer, he still needed to fix the second transformer, so he got that hardware and came back the next day. This was springtime so it wasn't that hot out so I wasn't worried, but oh, I thank God I found AirLife then, because my house is beautifully freezing inside of a very hot day outside.

We hired Edi based on other positive thumbtack reviews. We had a horrible experience that resulted in him taking $2100 of our money and claiming that he had fixed the unit when it wasn’t fixed. The system was leaking into the downstairs bathroom so both times that he had claimed to fix the unit we worked with another contractor (who is excellent btw) to take down and replace the ceiling just to find out that the unit was not fixed. Edi upon analyzing our hvac system gave us two quotes. One was for $900 which might fix the problem but if we wanted to be sure to fix it he said we should pay $1725. We agreed to the higher price for piece of mind. He has told us that the fix would be an all day project but he was there for less than three hours and used minimal parts but still charged us $1750. Seemed like a ridiculous amount of money for the amount of time that he was there, but what was more ridiculous is that this did not fix the problem. He came back to troubleshoot and brought someone else with him since it was clear that he was in over his head and didn’t know what he was doing. He did a couple quick fixes for free (one being installing a used and broken pump) which also didn’t work and then ultimately admitted to misdiagnosing the problem and telling us it was something else and we would now need to replace the box. He said that was clearly the problem and that if we did that it would be fixed. And he wanted another $750. It felt insulting to have to pay more money but we agreed to it and he came with the other man and did the additional work and wanted all his money. My husband now wiser said we would pay $450 and would pay the other $300 after we knew that it worked. He was upset by that but we reminded him we were already told that all of his last fixes would work and they didn’t. So the next day after the big fix the unit was leaking again. We texted him to tell him and as per below he has ghosted us. We feel like we are entitled to our money back. A very frustrating experience and now we are at square one.
