This needs to be said because the communication process and justification was so poor, it needs to be a lesson learned for them and a warning to others. Normally cleaning was great. Very flexible with skipping or pausing a cleaning if needed. No contract to sign. Due to circumstances, we had to cancel the service to save money. Quickly, those circumstances changed, and we tried to restart/get back on our normal cleaning schedule. The owner took it as an excuse and opportunity to raise the price on us, even though we had the same rate for years. Never once was told at new year or anniversary of service that a price change was happening. Nor were we warned if we canceled...the price would change. It was only a few weeks, not even a month passed. In hindsight, if we simply skipped one cleaning...they would have kept us at the same rate. Terrible business practice. We switched providers PURELY out of principle and ethics.
