Pros: It was a pleasure speaking with Clay’s. Their response to my request for a quote was quick and they followed through as scheduled. Nick arrived about 15 minutes early for the appointment. As we walked the property, he was very attentive, honestly responding to my questions about lawn mowing services, shrub trimming and pricing. Cons: My only concern was the unknown cost for a pretty simple Fall cleanup estimate. He said he won’t know until he sees how big the job will be (does he charge per leaf? lol 😉). I just don’t want to be surprised with an unexpected high cost at the end of the season. I was disappointed that he couldn’t give me any idea of the potential cost. I would think an estimated cost per hour would be easy enough to provide, but that’s just my opinion. Hopefully, he can provide me with better information when I see him next. Conclusion: I was comfortable agreeing to retain Nick for my biweekly lawn maintenance needs. Lawn mowing is set starting October 1. I am confident that everything will go well with that. Fall cleanup to be determined. Thanks Nick. See you October 1!
