Immediate service, by well qualified serviceman. He diagnosed my problem based on my written description and his experience with LG washing machines, so he brought the necessary repair part, a pump, with him. After finishing he demonstrated the working status of the machine. He was careful to avoid making a mess and disposed of dirty water outside. The repair cost over $400, which was close to half the original purchase price of the machine. But all repairs are costly, and I was satisfied.
