FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is transparent and tiered based on the service level. For in-home pet sitting, I care for up to 3 pets per visit (additional pets are $3 each). My rates are: • 15-minute potty break: $20 • 30-minute visit: $25 • 45-minute visit: $32 • 60-minute visit: $40 For cat-only clients: • 30-minute visit: $22 • 45-minute visit: $30 • 60-minute visit: $38 Overnight stays: $90 per night (for up to 2 pets; + $5 per additional pet) — this includes arriving ~10:00 PM, overnight presence, and a morning visit. I also have holiday/peak surcharges: a $15 holiday surcharge per day and a 25% cancellation fee during major holidays. For last-minute bookings (< 36 hours), a $10 rush fee applies. Otherwise, cancellations for drop-ins or walks must be made by 10:00 AM the same day to avoid a charge. Everything is straightforward — no hidden fees — and all rates are clearly disclosed up front so clients know exactly what to expect.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start with a free meet-and-greet to get to know your pets, their routines, and any special needs. From there, I create a custom plan that works best for your family — whether that’s drop-in visits, walks, or overnight care. During each service, I provide updates and photos so you always know your pets are happy and safe.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have years of hands-on training from working in professional pet resorts and kennels, where I cared for pets of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I’m also insured, background-checked, and have extensive experience administering medications, handling senior pets, and providing calm care for anxious animals.
