I love to connect with everyone I photograph, I aim to capture an emotion in the moment and give you photos you will cherish forever. As long as I can remember, I have loved taking photos and the art of capturing a moment in time. My passion for photography grew when my daughter, Lotus, was born in 2004 and I began documenting her childhood with an eye toward catching each irreplaceable moment. Nature and art inspire me and I regularly explore the DMV area looking for non traditionally beautiful or off-the-beaten path spots that can be overlooked. I love meeting and connecting with people, and I always have fun with my sessions. It's an amazing gift to me that photography gives me the opportunity to create art. It's possibilities are endless and all around us in everyday life, even in little things. I incorporate light and landscape to help create memorable photos. My aim is to give you pictures you will love and treasure!

I’m so happy I came across her profile on Thumbtack. She was the perfect photographer for my surprise proposal in DC. She was punctual, easy to communicate with, and made the process so easy for me. She gave great ideas, pointers for the big day, and truly felt like she wanted to make this the best day ever. She helped come up with a perfect location, went a week early to scout it out and then was there about a hour early to hold the spot on the big day. Now to get to the actual photography part of it, she absolutely crushed it. She captured my fiancé and me all over DC and spent over a hour with us! Not being from the area I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find a photographer that would check off all the boxes for me. However I was so wrong and so grateful for Georgette, she captured this moment for me and my finance beautifully and we couldn’t be thankful enough. If you need a photographer in DC, look no further she is the one for you.

Georgette is simply amazing! My fiancé and I had our engagement photo session Aug 21 and were impressed with Georgette’s professionalism and communication. We are not photogenic people at all, plus we had were running late to the location but Georgette was able to keep us relaxed throughout the shoot. She was wonderful to work with and communicated her methods throughout the session. The photos came out beautiful. I have some insecurities about myself so I was worried about how the pictures would look but I was amazed at how beautiful I looked. We will definitely be reaching out to her for our wedding photos! Georgette is the best!!! After contacting her, she responded quickly and scheduled a time to talk. During the call, she provided several locations that would work for our engagement photos. Once we arrived at the location Georgette was super professional. She went above and beyond, suggesting great poses all while melting in the summer heat!!!! We can’t thank you enough!

The investment starts at $350 per hour. There is a $30 travel fee depending on distance from Centreville VA.
