It was very difficult to get BJ Johnson to commit to helping me out. At first, he tried to refer me to someone else, which was fine until he was a no-show on his first day. He lied about the reason that he ghosted me (he ignored my email and voicemail), so BJ eventually stepped up, but at an inflated price--almost double what I was paying my previous two landscapers. He said my location is too far out of the way for most people in this business. I feel that he took advantage of my vulnerable situation, being an elderly woman living alone in a remote area, which has happened with many other service people over the past several years. He brought his son along to do the trimming while he did the mowing and they finished in just over an hour, but BJ did not double-mow the areas where there was clumping, but should have, especially after charging me a fortune for the service and getting done so quickly. I feel that I am at his mercy, which is a bad feeling to have (I have had ongoing landscaper issues since April), so I am still looking for someone else who is less expensive and lives in the neighborhood.
