- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I (Inga) founded and operated a nonprofit organization, PETintel, focused on promoting responsible pet care, not only to individuals and families but also to companies in the pet industry. Through this work, I provided training and educational resources to businesses, helping them improve their pet care standards, customer service practices, and overall understanding of animal welfare. This experience gave me a deep understanding of both the pet care field and the business side of the industry. It also strengthened my skills in training, communication, and program development — all of which are now integral to the services offered by Petsters. In addition to my professional experience, I have received hands-on training in administering simple injections and am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR through the American Red Cross. These skills allow me to respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations, further ensuring the safety and well-being of the pets in my care. I also continue to stay informed through ongoing research, networking within the pet care community, and professional development opportunities, keeping Petsters’ services aligned with the highest standards of care.
